Bury Council is seeking to award a concession to a suitably qualified professional for the provision of a hair salon service at the Council's new 60-bed extra care scheme Peachment Place for over 55s, off St Peter's Road, Bury.
The required service includes the provision of a fully operational hair salon for use by the residents of the facility and customers from the surrounding community. The aim of the service is to provide a modern hair salon to provide customers with an affordable quality hairdressing service.
An extra care scheme encourages independent living through a combination of specially designed housing developed with 24 hour, 7 day a week care and support.
The concession for this service will be for an initial two year licence period commencing June / July 2019 (date to be agreed), with an option to extend for a further three years.
