At Bury Council, we recognize the importance of good work and the many benefits it brings. Employment offers more than just financial stability. It also provides:
- Social Interaction: Building connections and fostering a sense of community.
- Identity and Self-Esteem: A sense of purpose and personal growth.
- Opportunities to Learn and Progress: Developing new skills and advancing in your career.
- Health and Well-Being: Contributing positively to both mental and physical health.
That’s why we are proud to support WorkWell, a service dedicated to helping Bury residents who may be at risk of losing their jobs or have recently become unemployed due to health-related challenges. This includes individuals dealing with mental health or musculoskeletal issues.
If you're facing challenges in staying in work or returning to employment, WorkWell is here to help. Whether you're looking for advice, support, or simply someone to talk to, our friendly team is ready to assist.
